Jasmine Dennis
Project Designer

Jasmine Dennis is a bold and passionate designer who’s all about breaking barriers—both in architecture and in life. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Jasmine honed her craft at Mississippi State University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Design. Since graduating in 2021, she’s made waves in the industry, with her work featured in architectural publications and hands-on experience spanning project teams across the East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest.

Jasmine is dedicated to lifting others as she climbs, serving as a mentor to students at Mississippi State University and Washington State University. As a young African American woman in architecture, she openly shares her journey, helping students of color navigate the challenges of breaking into and thriving within the field. She’s a proud member of the AIA Associates and the Pacific Northwest chapter of NOMA, as well as an active participant in J.E.D.I. initiatives. Through candid conversations with architects and contractors, Jasmine champions Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion within the built environment. She’s also a strong advocate for community-centered design, sustainability, and fair housing, believing everyone deserves spaces that uplift and inspire.

“The communities we build shape the environment and the people who inhabit them. As architects and designers, we influence mindsets and how people see the world. Those communities should be safe, stimulating, and fair to all,” Jasmine says. When she’s not blazing trails for her community, Jasmine loves spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Remey. Her hobbies include cooking, exploring the outdoors, creating art, and diving into new adventures.
